Who I Am Personally
Here are a few fun facts about me: I’m a Bible believing woman of faith, wife and mother of two (16 and 4 years old). I married my husband twice (great story, more on that later), and we love to chop it up in the kitchen together. We’re going to open an amazing cafe one day —and you just might find me there reading, writing or simply dining.
I love fine dining —assam, chai tea, London fog and pumpkin spice lattes included—and I watch animated movies like a 4-year-old because they embody the concept of reimagination, which I absolutely adore!

In addition to my full-time career as a leader in Quality and Performance Improvement, I’m also the Founder of The New Ideal CEO —leveraging my 25-years of experience and commitment to quality and excellence in the non-profit, hospital and healthcare industry to help visionary women, CEOs, leaders and organizations navigate complexities to build with greater clarity, lead with excellence, and achieve outcomes that outlast.
What You Can Expect
My story began with a quest to become the “ideal woman” —a model of perfection I idolized for years. My beliefs have since evolved, thanks to my less-than-ideal womanhood experiences, and I submit to you that “The Ideal Woman” is a divine assignment and not a social construct.
The Observationist Journal™ is meant to be a reflective space exploring faith, womanhood, life, and leadership in an age defined by acceleration and distraction. My writing and reflections are meant to be thought-provoking, and perspective shifting, inviting readers to slow down and re-examine the patterns shaping how women live and lead today.
Each piece is written through a biblical lens, challenging modern assumptions about success, identity, and womanhood. The aim is not to critique progress, but to rediscover a rhythm that honors God and His divine purpose for our lives —restoring depth, wisdom, excellence and integrity to how we live, lead and work.
